What do I benefit from using Paypower?

Paypower aims to simply extend the value-added needed before, during, and after electricity purchases.

How to register an account?

To register an account all you need is your mobile number. On the PayPower login page, simply type in your mobile number on the field labelled ‘phone’ and you are good to go.

How to login into my account?

Simply enter your registered mobile number, then click on ‘login’. The next time you would need to purchase electricity, you won’t need to login as your login details have been saved.

Where can I find my bills?

To see your previous transactions, scroll down and you will see a table displaying your latest electricity payment history. The details include the meter, the status and the date purchased.

How can I buy electricity on PayPower?

Firstly login using your mobile number. On the new payment page select your state, fill in your meter number and the amount you would like to purchase. Click on “continue.”
Next the review your order page will appear so that you can confirm your details before making a payment. Click on “Pay amount ….”
You will now have the option of selecting your payment method. Select one and fill in your details. Click on “pay” and follow the instructions.

What happens if there is a problem with my card?

Check to confirm if your card had been registered for online transactions. If it is not, kindly have it registered.
You also have the option of paying with bank if you are having difficulties with your card.
Do you have any restrictions from your bank?
Try with a different browser or device.

I did not get my token via SMS what next?

Tokens are ALWAYS received by SMS.
As a result of delays within a particular network you may not receive your SMS. Issues that arise due to network is entirely dependent on the telecommunication companies.

You may want to check the following:
Is your phone is switched on?
Is your phone network available?
Has your number been registered on DND (do not disturb)?
If you provide an email address on registering your account, the token will also be sent via email.

Another option for your tokens is through your transaction history. Click on “details” to see your tokens.

How do I access my tokens?

Your token is sent through SMS, Email and saved on your account as transactions. You can access your tokens by clicking on "Transactions" on the main menu. In the Transaction History table displayed, click on a button called "Details" to access your tokens. On the transaction details page; you can see the token as the first item on the page. You would also see other details of the transaction on this page. The token is sent via email if you provided an email address when you created an account on Paypower. Your token and other details of the transaction would be sent to the email. You can update your email address by clicking on view profile and providing your email address in the email field and click on “update profile”. If you have any unviewed token: A button is displayed on your Transactions page. Click on it to view your token.
